Aristocrat Motors is ringing in the New Year by stepping it up a notch! To provide our customers with the most in-depth coverage of the new luxury and high-performance models coming out for 2013, we are sending a team to the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, MI in what we have dubbed The Porsche Drive to Detroit.
The Team: Our social media representative Kris Nielsen (@KrisNielsenKC) and the Vice-President of The Social Media Club of Kansas City , Aaron Thacker (@Yourdp) will be driving to the show while tweeting along the way. Fans of cars and road trips alike are encouraged to attend!
The Car: Every great road trip needs a great vehicle, so we will be taking the 2013 Porsche Cayenne Diesel, a high-luxury, high-performance SUV with a knack for sipping fuel (29mpg).
The Challenge: In addition to tweeting and posting experiences, challenges, and more along the way, we will be attempting to travel the entire 763 miles to Detroit on a single tank of fuel. With the Porsche’s estimated range around 700 miles, this will prove to be quite the exercise in driving efficiently.
